As a lot of you know, there is one of the largest fires burning in Australia as we speak.

When the fires first began more than 800 million animals died in the first few months, Now that number rose to 1 billion animals now dead because of these bushfires. 26 people have been killed due to severe burns and unhealthy air quality. The fire also destroyed about 2,000 homes and still counting. At least 140 fires are still burning in New South Wales alone. 17 million acres of land in Australia is burned and left in Ruins. Firefighters from all over the world are flying over to Australia to help contain the fire and to give more help to the community. At least 150 firefighters from the United States have assisted authorities in Australia with fighting back to these horrible conditions. According to Australia's Bureau of meteorology, the fires have been filled by prolonged droughts, with December making the driest month on record. Record-breaking fundraisers for these bushfires have Rose 23 million dollars, and many people have not been shy when it comes to donating to this cause.
