Fake Holiday's

December 1st, 2019
Everyone knows what Black Friday and Cyber Monday is, its a time to gather around and wake up at 4am in the morning to fight people for good deals on those flat screen TVs, its a time when your kids can play as they hold your spot in line at Walmart because you need to rush over to Best Buy, it's a time to give thanks for all the membership cards your wife has so you can get that price the guy behind you wish he could get. Its a fake holiday. Yes you can say its tradition, as you watch those crazy shoppers go head over heel just to get something that they don't really need. Or how you camp outside the mall with your kids on Thanksgiving night, which is the real holiday. Last year three people died from this so called "tradition" and they died fighting for the good deal on the popcorn maker, or the vacuum cleaner, or the new recliner chair. No wonder the rest of the world thinks were stupid, they have good reason to believe that.

And this year my cousin was not able to celebrate Thanksgiving dinner with the entire family, because Sephora wanted her to work a night shift and the worst part is she cannot say no. This is no longer an option for people to spend Thanksgiving with their own Families.
"41.4 million people shopped only online from Thanksgiving Day to Cyber Monday, 6.4 million more than those who shopped exclusively in stores, according to the National Retail Federation. Black Friday online sales hit $6.22 billion, an increase of 23.7% from 2017, Adobe Analytics data showed." Business Insider
